Global Cash Management

Global Cash Management
Award-Winning Solutions Drive Revenue, Increase Customer Loyalty

Leading banks rely on WebSeries® Global Cash Management to meet the evolving payments and transaction reporting needs of their corporate clients. WebSeries supports each individual bank’s brands using service oriented architecture (SOA) and is flexible enough to implement one module at a time or as a complete platform.

WebSeries drives revenue and ensures customer loyalty with deep, configurable functionality that allows banks to offer a seamless customer experience to a broad range of audiences within a client and to multiple markets. The solution can integrate into an existing platform using web services or be implemented out of the box by module. Banks looking to use one technology across all payment types and reporting can utilise the full suite of WebSeries applications as a complete cash management solution. Because each bank-branded module integrates seamlessly within WebSeries, they are faster to deploy and less expensive to maintain.

WebSeries applications:

ACH Payments
Configurable and Powerful Payments

WebSeries® ACH provides users with the ability to initiate transactions with simple, common business terms. Payments can be made individually or in a batch and can be deployed either as part of the WebSeries product suite or as a Web service within existing solutions.

WebSeries ACH is easy to use and configurable to each client's specific business needs and provides full support for:

  • Complex tax and support payments
  • NACHA validation and upload
  • Batch support, validation and repair
  • Optional OFAC checking and remittance delivery
  • Transaction import maps

Easy-to-use bank administration and a flexible entitlements model helps ease the challenge of migrating large numbers of clients onto a new system. New data can enter the system through an advanced transaction import mapping tool, reducing the time needed for data entry and the risk associated with a manual process.

Real-Time Gross Settlements (Wires)
Quickly and Easily Initiate, Manage and Monitor Wire Payments

WebSeries® Wires is a flexible, full-featured application for making, managing and monitoring urgent, high-value domestic and international payments. The application can be deployed either as a standalone application that fits within a bank’s current solution infrastructure or as part of a full implementation of WebSeries Global Cash Management solution.

WebSeries Wires is flexible and easily tailored to each client's specific needs, allowing banks to provide complex functionality to a wide variety of clients. customisation is minimised with WebSeries' configurability and common transaction type templates.

Clients can enter payments through multiple channels, including manual entry, client-maintained templates, host-maintained repetitive/semi-repetitive, quick entry and file import. The Wires module also interfaces with real-time rate quotes enabling clients to consolidate multiple payments into single transactions.

WebSeries Wires provides:

  • Single click access to payment initiation
  • Full STP support and SWIFT interface
  • File import mapping functions
  • Integrated data table lookups for international bank codes
  • Extensive, multi-faceted reporting

Information Reporting
Flexible, Real-Time Reporting Across Multiple Payment Types

WebSeries Information Reporting allows users to access transactional information and account balances across channels in real-time. Easy-to-use, multi-level drill-down capabilities provide more efficient navigation through large quantities of information. Flexible, configurable client permissions and entitlements supports can match the complexity of client organisations, ensuring appropriate access to information.

Key benefits of WebSeries Information Reporting include:

  • On-demand access to account balances and transactions
  • Multi-bank, multi-currency reports
  • Self-service administration
  • Flexible exporting options to feed existing systems
  • Email alerting for proactive business decisions

WebSeries Information Reporting works within Bottomline's Global Cash Management solution and integrates seamlessly with other WebSeries applications.

Outsourced Check Production

WebSeries Outsourced Check Production meets global banks’ needs for providing corporate clients with complex, multi-lingual, multi-currency check payments.

WebSeries provides the information necessary to manage the physical infrastructure and associated status notification, error-handling, and documentation processes required to manage the printing of checks and drafts at global, remote branches. The solution easily scales to allow increased transaction volumes from additional branches, locations, business units, location and users to be added without impact.

The solution processes XML transactions, merges them with the appropriate previously defined form and adds the required printer control language (PCL) data to create a printer-ready data-stream. This enables integration with existing print-management systems ensuring that visibility to information needed to manage printer infrastructure and disbursement media is readily available.

Key Features Include:

  • Simplified setup and management of multiple print locations per branch
  • centralised visibility to all printers and current status including print status (success or failure) of all check print requests
  • Improved customer satisfaction through 24x7 inquiry reporting and faster account reconciliation
  • Printing of multiple check types on the same piece of blank check stock including both non-certified and certified checks
  • Generation of non-negotiable PDF image of check
  • Foreign currency and language support

International Payments
Straight Through Processing of Foreign-Currency Payments

WebSeries® supports the creation of international payments with full straight through processing capability. With multi-bank, multi-currency data integration, a global payment validation rules engine and support for multi-lingual and double-byte characters, banks can use a single interface to originate and process payments efficiently without the need to maintain multiple, geographically-dispersed systems.

This streamlined approach to managing payments provides banks with unparalleled ease of use and administration. Unlike proprietary solutions that require high levels of customisation, the platform's web-based architecture provides an extensible platform that enables institutions to add capabilities to their product suite faster. These compatible applications can be deployed quickly and add on functionality to the single, integrated look and feel across multiple back-office environments.

WebSeries International Payments supports functionality for:

  • Domestic and International ACH
  • Real-Time Gross Settlement (Domestic & International Wires)
  • Global Information Reporting
  • Check and Draft Production
  • Client Access Gateway

Client Access Gateway
Unattended File Transfer & Template Library Enhances Functionality

WebSeries® Client Access Gateway enables various transactional communications available for secure, unattended transmission of payments, check issuance files, securities confirmations and information reporting files. The Gateway infrastructure enables users to send payments to their banks and receive reporting information automatically. This service enables seamless communication of transactions and data to and from your clients' back-office systems, and offers the ability to print daily statement reports without manual intervention.

Benefits of the WebSeries Client Access Gateway:
