Transform™ Scan Centre
What is it?
A simple to use, optional, add-on module for scanning, capturing and indexing documents that provides direct scanner integration into your Transform application. Transform Scan Centre offers support for both desktop and volume scanners.
What can you do with it?
- Scan documents from either a physical scanning device or a directory location
- Classify documents e.g. Source, content or barcode information
- Index documents using OCR or manual data entry
- Ability to integrate with Transform Content Centre or other 3rd party storage solutions
Why is it important?
The increasing number of faxes and paper documents received by businesses is overwhelming. They often originate from the same suppliers or customers and have a static format and layout. Transform can extract the data from within these documents reducing manual re-keyed and making web-based workflow possible as part of a business process. Transform decreases scope for user errors by providing ‘select and paste’ data capture within host applications.
