Bottomline Again Recognized for “Best Accounts Payable Services
Global Finance Magazine Awards Company Top Honors Among World’s Best Treasury and Cash Management Providers for 201

PORTSMOUTH, NH  - March 11, 2010 – Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation solutions, announced today that the company again topped the Global Finance list of ‘World’s Best Treasury & Cash Management Providers’ in the Accounts Payable Services category.

Bottomline’s 2009 purchase of Bank of America’s PayMode®, a market-leading electronic network for payment and invoice automation, helped differentiate its nomination from those of competitors. Electronic invoicing and payments with PayMode help AP departments streamline approval workflow and settlement, gain visibility into payment status, and issue payments with security and control for reduced risk of error and fraud. Ultimately, PayMode improves AP performance metrics such as time to payment and early discounts captured.
