Metropolitan Airports Commission Selects Bottomline Solution for Transactional Document Automation
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – October 16, 2009 - Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation solutions, today announced that the Metropolitan Airports Commission, operator of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and its six reliever airports, has optimized its Oracle® JD Edwards EnterpriseOne™ implementation with Bottomline’s advanced capabilities for automating document-based transactional processes.
“From our perspective the standard Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne output did not align with our expectations for quality and efficiency, and addressing the situation through custom coding of the application proved to be too time-consuming,” said Michael Ladd, IS Manager, Metropolitan Airports Commission. “In Bottomline’s solution, we not only found an alternative to custom coding but also the breadth of capabilities which will allow us to create and distribute documents through multiple delivery methods.”
Bottomline’s award-winning document process automation solutions allow organizations to streamline business processes that rely heavily on paper-based documents. By automating the composition, routing, delivery and storage of transactional documents such as payments and invoices, organizations can operate more efficiently and cost-effectively. Integrating with industry-leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Bottomline’s solutions enable users to deliver electronic documents across multiple communication channels.
“Through the use of our solution, customers can quickly derive greater strategic value from document output without the need for complex custom programming,” said Rick Bell, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bottomline Technologies. “We’re pleased to welcome the Metropolitan Airports Commission as a new customer to Bottomline, and look forward to leveraging our domain expertise to help them build upon the strengths of their Oracle platform.”
