WebSeries 4.1 is the latest release of Bottomline’s enterprise payments and financial reporting platform. Changes introduced in WebSeries 4.1 fall into two main categories namely technology support and functionality:
The most significant technology change is that 4.1 is the first release to support Windows 2003. The currently supported database server is still SQL 2000 but now to service pack 4. Microsoft SQL2000, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server supported.
New or improved functionality available with WebSeries 4.1 is the introduction of a completely re-engineered BACS data loader called the Bulk Loader. This loader, which can be configured to handle a wide variety of file formats, improves the time that it takes to load large data files into the WebSeries BACS module significantly.
