SWIFT Connectivity

From outsourcing your SWIFT connectivity to running a fully hosted SWIFT system on the Bureau, many connectivity options are available to suit all requirements. Connectivity resilience is highly recommended, and the example configurations listed here are all designed with a prime and contingency customer site in mind.

These configurations are examples of stock options for connectivity, and other variants or combinations are possible depending on requirements and based on our recommendations.

Leased Line with IVPN backup
Connectivity between sites is made via a dedicated line and backed by an Internet based VPN connection; this option enables direct connectivity between the customer's LAN and us. It facilitates both manual interfaces for user access to applications and automatic data transfer (printing, file transfer and data/message exchange). Two Firewalls and a router are required at the customer's site, all items supplied and supported by us. The connection is secured by a VPN configured between the two sites. This configuration can utilise the customer's existing Internet connection.

Internet VPN with ISDN Backup
Connectivity between sites is made via an Internet based VPN connection and backed by an ISDN line; this option enables direct connectivity between the customer's LAN andus. It facilitates both manual interfaces for user access to applications and automatic data transfer (printing, file transfer and data/message exchange). Two Firewalls and a ISDN modem are required at the customer's site, all items supplied and supported by us. The connection is secured by a VPN configured between the two sites. This configuration can utilise the customer's existing Internet connection.

3rd Party Network with IVPN Backup
Connectivity between sites is made via a 3rd Party Network connection and backed by an Internet based VPN; this option enables direct connectivity between the customer's LAN and us. It facilitates both manual interfaces for user access to applications and automatic data transfer (printing, file transfer and data/message exchange). Two Firewalls are required at the customer's site, both items supplied and supported by us. The connection is secured by a VPN configured between the two sites. This configuration can utilise the customer's existing network and Internet connections.

We also offer connection from an organisation’s contingency site, or hosted services or connectivity from live site for either live or contingency traffic.
